The Blue Lamp
In the beginning, Ealing Studios were just the studios at Ealing, a London suburb. Built in 1931 as a home for Basil Dean’s Associated Talking Pictures, the studios were a production house subsidiary of ATP until Dean left in 1938 and Michael Balcon, after a very unhappy if successful stint at MGM British, came in as head of production and, emblematic of a fresh start, they were renamed Ealing Studios as a production company. Ealing went on to become Britain's most internationally successful studio.
There are many more Ealing Studios titles than those included here.
