Synopsis:
David Goliath (Paul Robeson) travels to Wales and, after impressing local leader Dick Parry (Edward Chapman) with his singing talent, gains employment at a coal mine. When an accidental explosion claims Parry's life and closes the mine, David joins the man's family in a quest to re-open the mine and bring the village back to life.
