Synopsis:
Wealthy socialite Anatol Spencer (Reid), despite his marriage to Vivian (Gloria Swanson), flits from woman to woman, "saving" each in turn as his disillusionment with societies of all strata increases.

Restoration:
The Affairs of Anatol was in problematic condition. No complete print survived in 35mm, and only a few reels had original tints, tones and Handschiegl color. The film was reconstructed from elements preserved at LoC and UCLA, with tints, tones, and Handschiegl re-created to give an idea of what the film looked like in 1921.
