When Robert Harris and James Mockoski set out to find a name that would connect their restoration work to the legacy of Paramount Pictures' silent era, Artcraft Pictures stood out. Originally founded in 1916 as a distinguished distribution company that later became part of Paramount, Artcraft was first used by Mary Pickford for her early Paramount films and soon came to represent the studio's premier productions. Now, more than a century later, the name is being revived to signify a new era of top-tier restoration efforts.
