"UNFORGETTABLE...Le Corbeau is a hellbrew that has lost not a fraction of its flavor, and it feels all to pertinent
to the age of trolls."
— Anthony Lane, The New Yorker
"A SUPERB NOIR THRILLER!"
— Philip French, The Guardian
"As brilliantly nasty as [Clouzot's later] Wages of Fear and Diabolique or indeed anything this misanthropic filmmaker ever did."
— J. Hoberman, The Village Voice
