Synopsis:
Two poor farmers, Ulysses (Marino Masé) and Michelangelo (Patrice Moullet), are recruited to join a war in a fictional country with promises of future treasure and glory. Their wives help convince them to enlist and the men communicate with them through postcards from the battlefield.
